2003 Leadership Council member (safeties rep.); first-year starter at free safety for the Aggies as a freshman in 2002; aggressive tackler; posted five or more tackles in every game he's started

2002 (Freshman): first-year starter at free safety; ranked among the defense's top tacklers and pass interceptors, despite missing all or most of the Oklahoma State (one play), Oklahoma (DNP), and Missouri (DNP) games due to injury; posted 69 tackles, including 49 solo hits; tied for team lead (with Byron Jones) with four interceptions that he returned for 46 yards; had four tackles for losses, including two sacks; had a season-high 1- tackles against Texas; had nine tackles against Virginia Tech, Kansas and Nebraska; started the first eight games of the season and the finale against Texas
