| A really physical and heady player who can man up very well as a saftey and could even play some corner. Played corner in arguably the toughest district in the Lone Star State and has been an extremely physical presence in run support as a run-stopping safety, as well.
Van Zant is totally deaf, but hasn't let his disability hamper him on or off the football field. Van Zant is considered one of the top defensive back prospects in Texas. He chose OSU over Texas A&M, Colorado, and Arizona.
