| Burnette will enter the 2007 season as the Longhorns’ top backup at center. He was a two-time all-state performer in high school, and was an early enrollee in the spring of 2006. He notched 92 "pancakes" and did not allow a sack during his senior year, when Wimberley went 15-0 and won the Class 3A state title. His father, Grady, was an All-Southwest Conference offensive lineman who blocked for Eric Dickerson and Craig James at SMU. |
