| Humphrey has good size and is absolutely overpowering at times. Humphrey plays low and uses leverage well. He penetrates, disrupts and can blow things up at the point of attack. Humphrey could play over the center or the three technique. He is quick off the ball and can plow through a gap. Humphrey is athletic, moves well laterally and can get off blockers quickly. |

| Jarvis Humphrey is considered one of the top defensive tackle prospects in Texas and the nation. Humphrey helped the Longhorns win the Class 5A state championship in 2006 and has proven he is a major load for any offense to deal with inside.
He was an All-District performer and received some All-Metro attention as well.
Humphrey has a bench press max of 300 and can squat 570 pounds. He is a powerlifter and also competes in shot and discus in track and field for Cedar Hill.
Junior Stats: 39 tackles, 20 assists, 20 tackles for loss and six sacks.
