| 2005: Started all 13 games at weakside linebacker. Earned first-team Freshman All-America and Freshman All-Big 12 from The Sporting News. Had 53 tackles, seven for loss, two sacks one pass break-up, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
HS: A quick, explosive and hard-hitting middle linebacker at the high school level who earned the Houston Chronicle's Houston-area defensive Player of the Year award as a senior and also led his team to a state championship. Too small for high D-I ball, some claim, but don't rule out future playing time for this hard working physical specimen with a nose for the football. |
