| Possessing better-than-average size/speed numbers, Tweedie has bounced around the field and never really progressed at any one position. Grades as a developmental prospect, who has possibilities as a third tight end. |
| Biography: |
Two-year starter who caught six passes for 55 yards as a senior.
Spent time at tight end, offensive tackle and defensive end in
college.
Pos:
Big-bodied blocking tight end with a degree of upside. Sets with a
wide base, bends his knees and blocks with leverage. Strong at the
point, stays with blocks and turns defenders from the action. Settles
into the open space on the field and extends his hands to make the
reception away from his frame.
Neg:
Not quick releasing off the line and possesses just average playing
speed. Stiff, falls off blocks and is not a true finisher. |
