| 2005: Brown enters his junior year after starting in all 12 games last season. Brown has tallied 51 tackles and two interceptions in his 25 career games at the defensive back position. He recorded a career-best seven tackles at Arkansas last year en route to recording 42 total stops on the season. Brown’s speed and versatility have come into play while serving on the special teams squad for two straight years.
2004: The young cornerback played in all 13 games last season as the primary backup at RCB en route to earning UT’s Outstanding Defensive Newcomer award. Brown also returned six kickoffs, averaging 18.2 yards per return. Heading into the fall, the sophomore is a candidate for the start at right corner and will again be in the mix as a return man.
HS: Brown is sensational cornerback who has a big knack for making big plays. He ran a 10.5 in the 100 meters so he has legit 4.3 speed. Speed, smarts and aggressiveness are a big part of his game. Earned Parade All-American and USA-Today first-team All-American status as a senior. |
