| Biography: |
| Hardworking and versatile, junior TE David Thomas should figure prominently in the offense in 2004. Thomas also took snaps at H-back and WR during spring drills. Started all 13 games as a sophomore en route to an Honorable Mention All-Big 12 campaign. Caught 14 passes for 219 yards and three TDs, including a career best 60-yard TD grab at Texas A&M. His 15.6 ypc was third best on the team in 2003. The fastest of all the Texas TEs, Thomas played in 26 career games heading into the 2004 season, registering 324 total yards and five TDs on 23 receptions. |
