| Tough, strong-armed fifth-year QB who started the first six games of the 2003 season and engineered 43-40 win over Texas Tech when he entered the game with 2:03 remaining. Completed 100-of-183 passes for 1,469 yards (16 TDs, two INT) in 2003. Opened career with 106 passes without an INT, a school-record for newcomers. His 8-to-1 TD to INT ratio led the nation. A Parade All-American as a prep senior from The Woodlands. |
