| The junior defensive back is a two-year returning starter at strong safety but is also a top back-up at corner, if needed. In his sophomore campaign, the versatile DB started in 12 games en route to totaling 66 tackles, two interceptions and a blocked extra point. In 2002, the redshirt freshman played in all 13 games at strong safety and cornerback. earning a third-team Freshman All-American selection from the Sporting News and UT’s Most Improved Defensive Player honor. His four career INTs have all been returned for touchdowns, a school record. |
