| Biography: |
| The hard-hitting junior started six of the last eight games at middle linebacker in 2003 and is slated to start at the spot in '04 despite suffering a broken jaw (and having his jaw wired shut) during the off-season. Over his freshman and sophomore campaigns (26 games), he registered 73 tackles at linebacker and on special teams. As a freshman in '02, Harris played in all 13 games on special teams, recording 13 tackles (nine solo) and forced a fumble. He also saw limited action at linebacker in four games. In 2003, his 60 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 14 QB pressures and two forced fumbles paved the way for a claim to UT’s Most Improved Defensive Player honor. |
