De’Aires Cotton of Alief Taylor has garnered a lot of attention from programs across the Big 12. Cotton ended all of the recruiting hoopla with a commitment to Coach Mack Brown and the Texas Longhorns over the weekend. Burnt Orange Beat has assembled a highlight package of Cotton from his junior season in which his Lions went 6-4 and two rounds into the playoffs.
