Austin LBJ linebacker Kerry Hyder burst onto the high school football scene as a freshman, earning Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors. He entered his sophomore campaign as one of the top ‘09 athletes in the Lone Star State, but his season was cut short because of an injury. Hyder is healthy now and is ready to get back on the field for his junior year.
