Colt McCoy wasn’t scared. After all, he’s a 19-year-old West Texan who swam across a lake to save a man on the other shore last summer. But when it was all said – and done – and Ohio State left Darrell K Royal-Memorial Stadium with a 24-7 win Saturday night, the winning team was the squad with the best quarterback – Heisman trophy candidate Troy Smith.
