The 2010 Texas recruiting class of 19 players got kicked off in early February when Galena Park North Shore offensive lineman Trey Hopkins verbally committed to head Coach Mack Brown. Since then, Hopkins has bulked up quite a bit and is ready for a big run as a senior for the Mustangs. Burnt Orange Beat spoke with Hopkins about his expectations for the season and his projected college position.

Galena Park North Shore has always been a strong pipeline program for many of the region's top programs including the Texas Longhorns, including Corey Redding, Joe Walker, and more recently incoming freshman tight end Barrett Matthews.
