SENIOR VIDEO: Calvin Howell

San Antonio Warren’s Calvin Howell has a chance to step in and contribute early for the Texas Longhorns. The 2009 defensive tackle rotation is looking for some new faces to take some meaningful snaps for Coach Muschamp’s defensive crew after losing Roy Miller and Aaron Lewis to graduation.

Calvin Howell (6-4, 280) committed to the University of Texas on May 14, 2008 over scholarship offers from Oklahoma, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and others.

The senior defensive tackle earned a 28-5A 1st Team Selection for his Warren Warriors and is is the #15 player in Texas on the Burnt Orange Beat 2009 Top 125 list.
