Despite not having received much attention from Texas since his junior day visit, the Longhorns did make an appearance to check out Koch and teammate James Hanna.
"They came by, but I was out with an injury," Koch said. "They didn't get to see me practice."
Koch currently holds two scholarship offers from schools hailing from the WAC and Mountain West conferences.
"I have two offers, one from Air Force and one from Boise State," Koch said. "With Boise State, I like their football program. They are pretty good. They went 13-0 last year. With Air Force, I really like their academics. They have a really good school. They don't want you there for just football. They want to make sure you succeed afterwards."
On top of the offers from Boise State and Air Force, Koch is hearing from New Mexico, Fresno State, Stanford and Colorado State and is planning on checking out several of these schools over the summer.
"I was planning on going to Boise State, maybe Stanford and maybe New Mexico," Koch said.
Despite the early attention, Koch is taking a wait and see approach when it comes to recruiting.
"Not yet," Koch said when asked about favorites. "I'm still trying to keep my options open."
Koch caught 13 passes for 224 yards during his junior season at Flower Mound High School.
