Kevin Durant was silent at the Longhorns' team banquet Monday night, but will announce his decision Tuesday. According to the Associated Press, Durant will leave Texas for the NBA.

Texas swingman Kevin Durant was not available to speak at Texas' team banquet so that the focus could be on his teammates, but will announce his decision today. "Multiple sources" told the AP that the freshman sensation is headed to the pros.

At Monday night's banquet, Durant and teammate D.J. Augustin were named the Longhorns' Co-MVPs.

Durant, the first freshman in NCAA history to earn consensus National Player of the Year honors, led the Longhorns in scoring (25.8 ppg), rebounding (11.1 rpg), blocked shots (67), steals (66) and double-doubles (20). He was the only player to rank in the Top 10 nationally in both scoring (fourth) and rebounding (fourth).

Augustin earned honorable mention All-America accolades from The Associated Press. A Freshman All-America pick by The Sporting News, he led the team and ranked fourth nationally in assists (6.7 apg). Augustin also ranked third on the team in scoring (14.4 ppg).

The official time for the press conference has been set. Check the Inside Texas Members Only Message Board for updates and discussion.
