Coleman's position coach was Oscar Giles. He was very impressed with what Coach Giles brings to the Texas Longhorns.
"He is a good guy. He seems like a very good coach," Coleman said.
Coleman ran down a list of his top schools. One school has been high on list his entire life.
"My top schools; I would say Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and TCU," Coleman said. "My favorite is Texas. I have loved that school since I was little. I have always dreamed of playing there."
The Texas coaches are still in the process of evaluating Coleman's talent. He will get an opportunity to impress them at least two more times before his senior season.
"He (Coach Brown) said they are still evaluating me. They are going to come down during the spring and they will see me at camp during the summer," Coleman said.
Coleman recorded 80 tackles and six sacks during his junior season on his way to earning first team all-district honors.
