By making key plays at critical times throughout the night, Ohio State showed that they were the superior team and left DKR with a hard fought 24-7 victory over Texas.

Ted Ginn took this Troy Smith pass for 42 yards on Ohio State's opening posession.

Kasey Studdard clears some space for Selvin Young.

Michael Griffin takes down Ted Ginn for no gain on this first quarter punt return.

Ohio State linebacker James Laurinaitis killed Texas, first stripping the football from Billy Pittman to wipe out what looked like an early Longhorn scoring drive. He followed that play and with a third quarter interception of Colt McCoy, returning it deep into Texas territory.

Colt McCoy finished the game with 154 yards, one TD pass and one INT.

Billy Pittman scores to even the score at 7-7 late in the second quarter.

Michael Griffin stops Antonio Pittman for a short gain.

Selvin Young cuts upfield for a nice gain.

Pittman is wrestled down by a host of Longhorn defenders.

Robert Joseph was able to disrupt this Troy Smith pass, but the Buckeye QB effectively picked apart the UT secondary for most of the game.
