Like a certain name-brand credit card, TEs <B>David Thomas </B>and <B>Bo Scaife</B> are every where you want them to be. The versatile and seasoned athletes are at the center of Texas' offensive innovations, as evidenced during the first week of spring drills. The two are being cross-trained at a variety of positions, allowing not only multiple offensive formations but also compensating for untested talent at wide receiver, head coach <B>Mack Brown</B> told Inside Texas.

"With David's size (6-3, 228), strength, quickness and intelligence, I think he can be really, really special for this team," Brown said. "He's developing into a great leader because they all know he does every thing right every day. We have to watch him because he'll drop (because) he runs so hard. We have to take him out.
