B.J. Johnson gives Texas its only lead of the day

Arkansas outperformed Texas in every phase of the game on Saturday and topped the Horns 38-28 in a wild game at DKR.
B.J. Johnson
hauled in this
Chance Mock
pass to make the score 21-14.....but after a fumble early in the third quarter Arkansas' Cedric Cobbs ran through a huge opening in the UT defense and 46 yards later the score was 28-14.
This was one of the few times in the game where I saw Cedric and some daylight at the same time. He was able to break this tackle and pick up a modest gain. Totals for the day: 13 carries and 27 yards.
Michael Huff
makes a nice tackle on a Razorback ball carrier in the second half. As a team, Texas missed plenty of tackles and gave up 265 yards on the ground.
Dakarai Pearson
stops Cedric Cobbs for no gain. Pearson also took a fumble return back 77 yards for a TD in the fourth quarter.
Roy Williams
picks up a nice gain during first half action. Williams had 10 catches for 117 yards on the day but was kept out of the endzone.
Brian Robison
stacks up Cobbs at the line of scrimmage in the second half.
B.J. Johnson streaks down the sideline to set up a score in the 4th quarter. B.J. had 126 yards on six grabs and scored twice on the day.
Austin Sendlein
actually sacks Matt Jones in the 3rd quarter. This play pinned the Pigs deep in their own territory, but Texas allowed Arkansas to convert a third and 30 and keep the momentum on their side.
Derrick Johnson
makes a rare tackle behind the line of scrimmage. The Texas defense spent most of the day being pushed back, missing tackles or biting on fakes and being out of position to make plays as they gave up well over 400 yards of offense to the Hogs.
Tony Jeffery
hauls in a TD catch to bring the Horns to within seven points in the fourth quarter. No matter, the Texas defense promptly came back out and let Arkansas drive the ball right back down the field to secure the win with a late field goal.
One word......CHAPS!
