Shane Buechele Texas Camp Preview

Shane Buechele

One of the top signal callers in the class of 2016 checks in from Arlington (TX) Lamar High School. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Shane Buechele was very impressive his last outing in Austin and hopes to duplicate his last performance in front of head coach Charlie Strong.

Shane Buechele is a name not many recruiting fans are aware of, but they should be. He is one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Texas for next year's class.

"The recruiting process has been fun but busy for my family and Me," Buechele said. "There was a week where I had four camps and it got a little crazy. Overall it's been fun. My offers are Kentucky, TCU, Texas Tech and Oklahoma."

In addition to his offers schools such as Arizona State, Texas, Baylor, Stanford, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M are all showing interest.

"I have camped at Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, Texas, Stanford, and Texas A&M," Buechele said. "All my visits have been great with TCU, Oklahoma, Stanford and Texas . I liked those schools and the coaches seemed real with me which I appreciated."

Buechele is a fantastic quarterback prospect that only wants to improve his game. He will focus on his entire game during this off-season including mechanics, footwork, leadership, accuracy and speed.
