Duvernay is one to watch

WR Devin Duvernay

Sachse high school has a pair of dynamic playmakers, and both players have offers from the Texas Longhorns. Defensive back Jared Mayden and wide receiver Devin Duvernay are big time targets for next year's class.

Devin Duvernay is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound playmaking wide out with offers from Auburn, Baylor, Clemson, Illinois, Iowa and Texas to name a few.

"I really like [Charlie] Strong," Duvernay said. "He's a good guy and I look forward to getting to know him a little more. My relationship with the coaching staff isn't that great but I do look forward to getting to know them."

Duvernay is instant offense, he is fast, elusive and is a threat to take it the distance every time he touches the ball. Duvernay is exactly what Texas is looking for on the offensive side of the ball.

Defensive back Jared Mayden has Texas near the top of his list of favorites at this time. Mayden and Duvernay are good friends and Longhorn fans can expect to see the pair visit Austin as much as possible in the coming months.
