Head coach Charlie Strong and the rest of the Texas coaches are in search of offensive playmakers. Ryan Newsome is one of the most dynamic wide receivers in the state of Texas and the Longhorns are hoping he is apart of the 2015 class.

Ryan Newsome is a 5-foot-9, 170-pound playmaking wide receiver from Aledo (TX) He holds offers from Arkansas, Baylor, California, Clemson, Florida State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Texas.

"The process is going well," Ryan Newsome. "The best part is the amount of people that know me now."

Nebraska, Oklahoma, TCU, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Ole Miss have all checked in on Newsome recently. One coach in particular, Charlie Strong, has made a huge push for Newsome.

"Coach Strong is a great guy along with coach [Tommie] Robinson and the rest of the staff," Newsome said. "The rich tradition is second to none."
