Texas sophomore forward Ioannis Papapetrou ended his strong U-20 performance on a high note, scoring a game-high 21 points and grabbing seven rebounds as Greece took fifth place in the U-20 European Championship.

Papapetrou shot 9-of-15 from the field, including 1-of-4 from three and made 2-of-5 free throws while playing 37 minutes in the 74-60 win over Turkey.

It was just another excellent performance from the Texas forward, who led Greece in scoring with 15.9 points per game over the 10 contests played. He also was second on the team in rebounding (5.3), steals (12) and minutes played per game (33.0). Papapetrou reached double-figures in nine of the 10 games, including two 20-point games, making 60-of-125 from the field (.480) including 19-of-56 (.339) from three and 20-of-28 (.714) from the free throw line.

Perhaps most impressively, Papapetrou might have been Greece's best player on a team that included Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was taken as the No. 15 pick in the recent NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks.
