Jabarie Hinds

Guard play will be key when West Virginia faces Oklahoma State on Saturday, as the Mountaineers' Jabarie Hinds recalled the problems OSU's Markel Brown, Phil Forte and Marcus Smart in the teams' first meeting.

Forward Deniz Kilicli said the matchup with the Cowboys suits his style of play. As his senior season draws nearer to its conclusion, he said there is no greater sense of urgency -- because he reached the point of urgency a long time ago.

Coach Bob Huggins recapped the first meeting West Virginia had with OSU, recalling that his players simply "threw the ball away" too often to remain competitive after a hot start. The other critical error: help defense coming from the wrong places on the floor, freeing up a pure shooter like Forte.
