A new beginning for West Virginia's baseball program is only a couple of weeks away, as the Mountaineers will play their first season under new coach Randy Mazey -- a season with plenty of challenges, from higher-caliber competition to unique travel demands.

Right fielder Brady Wilson said the large recruiting class Mazey brought in shortly after his hire has already assimilated well with the players that were already on the roster. He also said West Virginia's new coaching staff plans to use Wilson's speed on the base paths to be aggressive and create offense.
