Davis (6-3 210), an excellent pass-rusher from Shreveport (La.) Woodlawn, picked the Longhorns over LSU, a team with whom he's held a commitment for most of this recruiting cycle.
Davis seems to be a Von Miller clone, with similar measureables and an inherent ability to get to the quarterback. His signing means that the Longhorns filled their final need in the class, one for a big-time pass rusher off the edge.
Davis is a freak athlete who posted a 4.56 40-yard dash time at The Opening, the same event where he vertically leaped in the mid-30-inch range.
