Four Longhorn Freshmen Arrested Last Week

McCullough, three others arrested

A Brazos Valley Narcotics Task Force officer arrested four University of Texas football players last week on misdemeanor drug possession charges, a Madison County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson confirmed Friday.

CB Edorian McCullough, RB Selvin Young, DT Larry Dibbles and LB Aaron Harris allegedly were found in possession of less than two ounces of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor in Texas, on Friday, May 2. The circumstances surrounding the arrest are currently unknown.

An arrest report has not been issued but a ‘probable cause’ statement has been filed with the Madison County District Attorney’s office, according to several Madison County law enforcement officials.

"This is an on-going investigation and is not yet complete," said Leslie Allen, a clerk with Madison County District Attorney’s office. "Until the investigation is complete, we cannot release information."

Once the investigation is complete, charges could be filed against all, none or just some of the four.

All four players competed last fall as true freshmen and all four project as prominent back-ups heading into the '03 season.
