The game, set to take part at Chicago's United Center, will tip off at 9 p.m. Central time and will be televised by ESPN.
A great athlete and leader, Kabongo excels at setting the table for teammates and doing whatever he can to help the team win. He'll display those talents for the West squad tonight. Kabongo marks the 13th Texas signee to compete in the game, from which proceeds are dedicated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The 6-foot-2 star guard from Findlay College Prep in Henderson, Nevada has averaged 17.1 points, six assists and 5.3 rebounds per game in leading the school to a 28-3 regular season record.
Kabongo continues Texas's line to Canada, and has experience playing with soon-to-be backcourt mate and fellow Canadian Cory Joseph.
But that's after his high school season finishes, and Kabongo still has games to play. On Thursday, Findlay Prep will start the eight-team ESPN RISE National High School Invitational tournament at Georgetown Prep in North Bethesda, Md. The tournament will run through Saturday, with all of the games televised on the ESPN family of networks.
Findlay Prep is the No. 3 seed in the tourney, faces No. 6 seed Dwyer (Fla.) in the quarterfinal round, with the game tipping off at 3 p.m. on ESPNU.
