Colt McCoy's on-field jersey retirement ceremony will start at 5:45 p.m., and Texas officials would like fans to fill the stadium and be in their seats by 5:30 p.m. The Baylor game is set to start at 6 p.m.
The Longhorns will also honor breast cancer survivors, while recognizing those who have lost their lives to, or are currently fighting, the disease.
According to Texas officials, the Longhorns will walk on the field carrying a pink flag, the players will wear a pink ribbon decal on their helmets and coaches will wear pink ribbon lapel pins. Both coaches and players will also wear pink wristbands.
Breast cancer survivors Ralene Gideon, mother of safety Blake Gideon; team physician Dr. Andrea Pana; and Brenda Davis, wife of Associate Athletics Director for Academic Services Brian Davis, will serve as honorary captains and accompany the UT captains for the coin toss prior to kickoff.
Additionally, 12 players and former Longhorn Marcus Tubbs, who have had a family member affected by breast cancer, will stand at the hash mark during the coin toss.
